Working With Pick Up America

Today my whole family went over to Black Hill Regional Park and helped build a bottle bench with Pick Up America! We helped make bottle bricks, which are plastic bottles that we filled with trash, like plastic bags, and wrappers. We also helped get the materials for the bottle bench ready, by making the insides of the bench. We spoke with the people who work for Pick Up America, such as Dave and Jane. I also got to work with some of my friends, which was fun. The whole experience was really cool and it was interesting to meet the people who inspired us in our own project.
