Spring Cleaning

 Hi everyone! With it being my junior year of high school I haven't been able to go on walks and clean up as much as I would have wanted to. But, now that I've finished my AP exams, we've been able to take two trips to the lake to help clean up trash. We collected one bag full of trash on each trip. Most of the trash was composed of small pieces but we also found a big plastic gallon container. I'm glad to be back helping to keep our community clean!

Winter Break Walk

Hi everyone! I just got home for winter break, and the weather has been much warmer compared to last year around this time. We decided to go out for a walk to North Creek Lake to do some trash collection. While it is really warm, the vegetation is still pretty sparse, so it was easy to see exposed trash around the edge of the lake. We were able to pick up a bag and a half in about an hour of walking.
